The Modern Chess Instructor by W Steinitz, Putnam's, New York 1889. Betts 14-1. Very good condition throughout with only very minor
wear around the tips. This has a superior binding with dark blue covers rather than the normal brown. Steinitz's landmark work in which he explains many of his theories. The final section analyses the games of the Steinitz-Chigorin match. Sold
